I did so many things but didn't actually get a chance to write any of them down, didn't even update my diary - bad bad person!!
Soooo recap;
I went to a icehockey game that was out of this world, there were so many people!! Obviously because it is the national sport - stupid Andrea - But we didn't know that it was actually a very important game!
It was like the champions league of Ice hockey, and the best bit was that they actually won! They played against Moscow and they were both good but Jokerit (Helsinki) was better yeaaaah; they won with 3-0 !!!! (see picture section for some cool pics of that day)
After that (or before, cant remember); we went on a boat towards the Helsinki Zoo!
The animals were obviously very excited to see us and vice versa!!! It was such a lovely day, the sun was shining, I could wear a dress - for the last time :(
Theeeen I did a lot of homework, which is NOT that cool or amazing but is indeed necessary !!
I went back to Belgium woehoeeeew; for an amazing event that I am soooo proud of! Aper'eau was out of this world!!
And on Saturday we went to a b-e-a-utiful wedding! It was perfect!! Spend a lot of time with friends and family and I was so happy to see everyone again!! I have some pictures under the pictures section as well so you guys can check it out!
When I came back I needed to get a move on on the studying part because I really didn't want to fall behind because of my little trip back home. That lasted longer than expected because it was my Birthdaaaaaay!!!! And because some cab drivers randomly decided to go on a strike, on my birthday, on the day I had to catch a plane.
But HA HA the joke's on you cab drivers because I made it onto my plane and I will be using UBER from now on for suuuure!!!
We also managed to go on a 'little' boat trip for my birthday with the girls; we actually went to Tallinn, and it was much prettier than I thought it was going to be. It was kind of a combination of Bruges / Russia. Like all the old building and cosy corners from Bruges (it reminded me of Belgium so I obviously fell in love with it) and like the white bright colors that I think are typical Russian - don't know for sure because I've never actually have been to Russia - Oh well!
If you want to see some cool pictures of my birthday get-away, check out the picture section!
So for now it just has been pretty boring, I did a lot of homework, papers, presentations, etc..
I have a seminar coming up that is pretty stressful since I don't have my presentation yet and I have to prepare like everything last minute. I have some exams coming up as well, because.. I don't know if you guys know but;
here in cold cold Finland, they split up each semester into two separate periods; so the fourth period is almost done, I think the 5th period starts in the end of October; so yes, exams and papers are due in the next month and I am starting to get a little swarmed in work. BUT I LOVE IT. Keeps me busy!!!!
We are actually making plans to go to Porvoo this Saturday, so if anything interesting happens there I'll let you guys know! I also made some short video's so you people can catch up to everyday life here in Helsinki!!!
Speak to you soon
(I hope)
Moi-Moi
